Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jenkins Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terrance Hickman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Jenkins Jr misses.
Hickman fails to land the takedown.

Jenkins Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Jenkins Jr is trying to force a seperation but Hickman has the dominant position.
Hickman is trying to drag Jenkins Jr to the mat but Jenkins Jr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jack Jenkins Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrance Hickman.

Jenkins Jr manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hickman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Hickman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jenkins Jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hickman.
Hickman shoots in for a double leg but Jenkins Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jenkins Jr leaves Hickman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hickman looks for a takedown but Jenkins Jr sprawls well.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hickman or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins Jr, which made it look bad.
Jenkins Jr throws a big counter combination but Hickman scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Jenkins Jr clinches with his opponent.

Jenkins Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hickman.
Hickman prevents Jenkins Jr from escaping the position.

Hickman tries for a kimura but Jenkins Jr is defending well.

Hickman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jenkins Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins Jr is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hickman asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hickman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Hickman is working to tighten his grip on Jenkins Jr's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jenkins Jr has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hickman is really squeezing tight and eventually Jenkins Jr passes out! Hickman breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Terrance Hickman!
