Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Dude (ranked 4675 p4p, 4673 weight class) and Heavy Mann (ranked 197 p4p, 198 weight class). Heavy Mann has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Heavy Dude's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick from Dude, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mann misses with an uppercut. Dude saw that one coming.
Mann swats away the attempt to clinch by Dude.
Mann swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dude misses with a low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mann! But no joy.
Dude's corner calls for a 1-2. Dude obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dude tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mann has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dude.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mann darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Dude rushes Mann and presses him up against the cage.
Mann wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dude has him pressed against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mann.
Dude creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Dude lands a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mann is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dude is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dude loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Dude wants to pass the guard but Mann is keeping the position.

Dude keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mann's head.

Dude stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mann swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dude lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've been informed that Mann has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Mann is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dude throws a big right hand that misses.
Dude is in close to Mann's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dude throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mann works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dude prevents Mann from getting back to his feet.
Dude tries to free his leg and advance position but Mann is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dude with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Dude lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Dude postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mann is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dude, into his guard.

Dude turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dude manages to end up in side control.

Dude wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mann, who protects the arm well.

Mann bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Dude moves out of range as Mann strikes.
Mann throws a hook but Dude blocks it.
Dude fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dude moves in looking to clinch but Mann pushes him off.

No luck for Dude with that takedown attempt.
Dude gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mann.
Mann stuffs the takedown.
Mann looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dude tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mann misses with a looping right.
Mann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mann looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

It seemed like Mann was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Heavy Mann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dude bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mann might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Dude lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dude is looking to clinch but Mann is avoiding it.
Mann swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dude drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Dude has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mann regains guard immediately.
