Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Draught (ranked 2048 p4p, 1920 weight class) and Amadeo Thevenet (ranked 220 p4p, 212 weight class). Draught comes to the cage accompanied by JACKEDANDSTACKEDMASSMONSTER. Amadeo Thevenet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlton Draught!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Amadeo Thevenet!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thevenet gets caught napping as Draught dives in and scores a takedown. Thevenet manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thevenet looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Draught slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Thevenet is trying to improve his position.
Thevenet stops Draught from passing to mount.

Draught is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thevenet is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Draught uses his free foot to push down on Thevenet's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Thevenet.

Thevenet felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Draught, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
