Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cassidy on his heels. He'll look to pass Cassidy's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cassidy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Wade is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cassidy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cassidy shrugs it off.
Wade tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cassidy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wade.
Wade is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cassidy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cassidy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Cassidy is desperately trying to improve his position but Wade has a good base and remains in mount.

Wade is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Cassidy defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

No luck for Cassidy with that takedown attempt.
Cassidy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wade's waist but Wade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cassidy off to one side.
Wade stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wade wants it to stay on the feet.

Wade feints and as Cassidy raises his hands in defense, Wade changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Billy Wade overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
