Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Mason (ranked 3486 p4p, 24368 weight class) and Gopnik Skwat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gopnik Skwat!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason moves out of range of the body kick from Skwat.
Skwat throws the left hand but Mason avoids the punch easily.

It looked like Mason was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Skwat.

Skwat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mason throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Skwat.

Gopnik Skwat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Skwat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
