The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix lands a nice shot that snaps Salvacion's head back.
Lacroix scores with the left hand. Salvacion knows he should have avoided that one.
Lacroix thuds his right hand into Salvacion's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Godfrey Lacroix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Salvacion has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Salvacion there as he acknowledges the shot.
Salvacion gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lacroix.
Lacroix will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lacroix lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Lacroix lands a nice hook to Salvacion's body. Salvacion takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Salvacion drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Salvacion ducks right into an uppercut from Lacroix.

Lacroix lands with an uppercut that bounces Salvacion off the cage and back into range.
Salvacion takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Oh Salvacion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lacroix thuds his right hand into Salvacion's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Lacroix might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Salvacion seems to have got his legs back now.
Lacroix's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lacroix duly obliges.
Lacroix has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Salvacion is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A left lands for Lacroix.

Lacroix steps into range and cracks Salvacion with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Salvacion flops backwards and Lacroix dives into his guard looking to finish!

Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lacroix controls the pace.

Salvacion is working an open guard so Lacroix takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Lacroix swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lacroix.
Salvacion looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Lacroix lunges at Salvacion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salvacion's hand.
Lacroix connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Salvacion covering up! Lacroix comes in with a big uppercut and Salvacion goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
