Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 24152 p4p, 4877 weight class) and Dong Hyun Ma (ranked 0 p4p, 433 weight class). Zakrzewski has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dong Hyun Ma! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zakrzewski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ma - the referee stops the clock and Zakrzewski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ma. Zakrzewski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Zakrzewski is breathing heavily. Zakrzewski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zakrzewski sprawls well initially but Ma persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ma trying to control the pace. Zakrzewski is in trouble now - Ma has advanced to mount! Zakrzewski in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ma controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ma pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Ma takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ma cracks Zakrzewski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ma controlling his opponent. Ma is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Zakrzewski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zakrzewski shrugs it off. Ma controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ma lands a nice shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ma controlling the pace for now. Ma is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zakrzewski can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ma looking to control and managing it successfully. Ma working for a guillotine from mount but Zakrzewski is in no mood to give up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ma controlling from mount. Ma scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Zakrzewski?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Ma stalls from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Let's hope that Ma has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Ma thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Zakrzewski is trying to improve his position. Ma is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ma connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Zakrzewski some visible discomfort.

Ma is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Zakrzewski is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
