Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dante Black (ranked 21137 p4p, 2106 weight class) and Carson Tully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Mack the Knife. Tully has chosen Aztec Tribe - Pistoleros as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dante Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carson Tully!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black tries to bum rush Tully with a series of wild strikes but Tully uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tully closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Black did well to prevent Tully getting side control.
Tully moves nicely into side control.
Tully swings around for an armbar but Black sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tully's guard.
Black definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Black gets to his feet - Tully follows without any prompting.
Tully steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black.
Tully closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Black's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tully trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tully prevents Black from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black is pulling down on Tully's head to control his posture.
Tully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Black is keeping the position for now.
Tully works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tully is pressing down on Black's thigh, looking to free his foot. Black is holding on for now.
Tully is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
My spies in Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu inform me that Tully has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tully uses his free foot to push down on Black's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Black.
Black tries to hold on but Tully pushes him away.
Tully moves to the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tully is looking for the choke from the back position but Black is controlling his hands well.
Tully has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Tully is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Black defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tully on the ground.
Black trying to control the action but Tully just sinks the hooks in.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tully has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Black has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Carson Tully dominated that round.
That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tully fails to land the takedown.
Tully shoots in and gets a takedown into Black's guard.
Black is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Black is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Tully.
Black misses with a short punch on the inside.
Tully wants to take the fight to the mat but Black manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dante Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carson Tully.
Black misses with the head strike.
Tully has picked Black up - he's going for a ride! Tully dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Black is controlling Tully's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Black is trying to stand back up but Tully is controlling him
Tully has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tully keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Black fails to land.
Black lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Tully drops down looking for an ankle pick but Black pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tully closes this distance looking for a takedown but Black circles away.
Black stuffs the takedown.
It looked like Black wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tully's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Black connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tully scrambles back to his feet.
Black cracks Tully with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Black has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tully to stand back up!
Tully is rocked!
Carson Tully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Tully! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Dante Black!
Our winner, Dante Black, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
