Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Durant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant lands a lovely overhand right.
Kha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Durant sprawls well. Durant wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kha gets slowly back to his feet.
Durant throws a nice outside leg kick.
Durant fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kha shoots in for a double leg but Durant sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kha fails with the takedown
and Durant counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kevin Durant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Un Kha.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Durant lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kha off his feet! Kha tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kevin Durant!
In his post fight interview, Kevin Durant started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Un Kha was interviewed post fight and said 'i'll be back!'.
