Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arturito Tampukpuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dylan Toal!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tampukpuk fakes the leg kick and cracks Toal in the body.
Tampukpuk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Toal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Toal swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Toal swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tampukpuk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toal falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tampukpuk counters by clinching up.
Tampukpuk working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Tampukpuk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick by Tampukpuk - that's a beauty! Toal is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Tampukpuk can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
