Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Addiel Glez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aaron Nevemore! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Glez tries to move to mount but Nevemore blocks the move with his legs. Glez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nevemore has escaped the position, nice work there. Nevemore is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Glez asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nevemore is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Glez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Glez tries for a kimura but Nevemore is defending well. Nevemore wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! You can see the frustration on Nevemore's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. An attempted straight right counter from Glez misses the target. Glez dives in for a single leg takedown but Nevemore sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nevemore bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Glez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nevemore pinned against the cage. Nevemore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Addiel Glez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nevemore lands a high kick!
It looks like Addiel Glez has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Glez tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nevemore lands a brutal head kick. Glez looks out on his feet and Nevemore throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
