Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23252 p4p, 23493 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 45 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 38 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Libat's waist but Libat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sapi off to one side. Libat was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Libat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sapi as he jumps to the side. Libat closes the distance and clinches up with Sapi, looking for a takedown. Libat pushes Sapi against the cage but Sapi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sapi unleashes a big counter combination but Libat bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi looks to land a combination. Libat sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Libat gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat trying to control the position here. Libat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sapi's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sapi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sapi chips away with some ground and pound. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Libat has his hands on Sapi's head, controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat looks for a takedown but Sapi sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapi shoots and misses and Libat counters with a body kick. Sapi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Libat tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sapi is in Libat's guard. Libat has control of Sapi's left arm, preventing Sapi from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi slips nicely into half guard. Libat is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi stalling. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi dominated that round. That's time! Libat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Nice sprawl there from Libat as Sapi shoots in. Sapi shoots in but Libat avoids the takedown attempt easily. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Sapi blocks it. Nice sprawl there from Libat as Sapi shoots in. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Libat is looking to counter with a body kick. Sapi scores with a takedown into Libat's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat is trying to control the position but Sapi postures up. Sapi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sapi throws a strike but Libat rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sapi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Libat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Libat seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sapi for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sapi is controlling Libat's posture. Libat engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi closes the distance and clinches up with Libat, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes Libat against the cage but Libat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Libat shoots and misses and Sapi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Sapi shoots in for a double leg but Libat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Libat fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sapi sprawls well initially but Libat persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Libat content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi wants to control but Libat is keeping busy and won't allow it. Libat performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Libat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sapi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Sapi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Libat to score an easy takedown into full guard. Libat stopping the sweep attempt from Sapi. Sapi has his hands on Libat's head, controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat won't allow Sapi to sweep him here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Libat throwing strikes but missing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sapi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sapi with a poor takedown and Libat counters with a solid body kick. Sapi stuffs the takedown. Libat tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sapi defends well and Libat ends up having to push Sapi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sapi thinks about the counter body kick. Libat goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sapi prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Libat is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sapi goes for a takedown attempt but Libat pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Libat jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Sapi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Libat avoids it really well and circles away. And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. I think Libat has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
