Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ding Ding Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mawashi Geri!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ding Dong is defended easily by Geri.
Geri is trying to counter with his kicks.
Ding Ding Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ding Dong throws a right hand that Geri ducks under and follows up with a left that Geri also avoids with ease.
Ding Dong looks for a takedown but Geri sprawls well.
Geri lands with a kick to the temple. Ding Dong shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Ding Ding Dong has been cut.
Geri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ding Dong is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Geri's half guard.
Geri kicks off Ding Dong and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ding Dong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ding Dong blocks a head kick by Geri.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Geri lands a big head kick that sends Ding Dong tumbling to the mat! Geri takes a step backwards and waves Ding Dong back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Geri leaves Ding Dong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ding Ding Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Geri displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ding Dong.
Ding Dong gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mawashi Geri!
