This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Chad Strdoza! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Desi Kraag! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kraag is looking to clinch but Strdoza is avoiding it.
Strdoza seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Strdoza keeps the fight on the outside. Strdoza half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kraag has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Kraag tries to clinch up but Strdoza circles away and keeps his distance. Strdoza swats away the attempt to clinch by Kraag. Kraag wants to clinch. Strdoza seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strdoza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kraag tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Strdoza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Strdoza half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Kraag manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Strdoza drops back looking for a leg! Kraag is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kraag manages to kick Strdoza off! Strdoza jumps back into Kraag's guard. Kraag trying to keep a closed guard but Strdoza is proving a slippery customer.

Strdoza slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Score +3 for passing guard: Strdoza (3) vs (0) Kraag Kraag can't do much from the bottom here.
Strdoza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kraag, who protects the arm well.
Strdoza is working to tighten his grip on Kraag's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kraag has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Strdoza is really squeezing tight and eventually Kraag passes out! Strdoza breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
