Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chester Mackintosh (ranked 2628 p4p, 3493 weight class) and Jack Nice (ranked 321 p4p, 415 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nice's choice of entrance music: “Warped” RHCP. The key to victory for Chester Mackintosh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chester Mackintosh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Nice! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mackintosh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nice.
Mackintosh throws a right hand that misses
and Nice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Nice trying to control from Mackintosh's half guard. Mackintosh has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Nice looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mackintosh keeping moving, preventing Nice from controlling successfully. Nice looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nice works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice wants to work for an arm triangle but Mackintosh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nice is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nice wants to pass to mount but Mackintosh is defending the position. Nice is looking to take a break and control but Mackintosh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mackintosh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mackintosh is pressing down on Nice's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nice has gone for a leg lock! Mackintosh slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nice's guard. Mackintosh wants to control from the top but Nice keeps moving. Mackintosh is really struggling to control Nice but he's trying to hold on to the position. Nice trying to keep a closed guard but Mackintosh is proving a slippery customer.
Nice looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mackintosh passes into half guard.
Nice is looking for a sweep. Mackintosh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mackintosh controlling the pace. Nice wants to improve his position but Mackintosh is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nice is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Mackintosh content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nice is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mackintosh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mackintosh's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice is working for a rear naked choke. Mackintosh is not defending it well and Nice has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mackintosh refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mackintosh's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Nice! A relieved looking Jack Nice thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
