Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Tartaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz has chosen Mosh By Eminem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tartaro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ortiz to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Tartaro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ortiz was covering up waiting for the punch and Tartaro finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tartaro stands up and beckons Ortiz to join him on the feet.
Tartaro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ortiz napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tartaro decides to stand back up. Tartaro steps back and let's Ortiz get back to his feet.
Ortiz closes the distance and clinches up with Tartaro, looking for a takedown. Ortiz pushes Tartaro against the ropes but Tartaro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Ortiz or perhaps it was just good defense by Tartaro which made him look bad.

Ortiz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tartaro is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Tartaro's face as he tries to break the clinch.
