The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolle tries to close the distance and clinch but Connery swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rolle lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rolle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Connery swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Horrible takedown by Connery or perhaps it was just good defense by Rolle which made him look bad.
Kunami Rolle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rolle moves in looking to clinch but Connery pushes him off.
Connery has a takedown stuffed.
Connery circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rolle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rolle is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Connery hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
