This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 25 wins and 13 losses; Tyron Scott! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 34 wins and 42 losses; Strega Notturna! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Scott closes the distance and pushes Notturna back into the ropes. Notturna pulls guard effortlessly. Scott wants to control from the top but Notturna keeps moving. Scott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Notturna is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Notturna can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scott controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Notturna looking to control and managing it successfully. Scott prevents any damage by holding on tight. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Scott is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Scott is squirming around, avoiding Notturna's attempts to control the action. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Notturna looking to control but Scott is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Scott stops Notturna from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Notturna wants to control the pace but Scott is squirming around nicely. Notturna prevents Scott from getting the reversal. Notturna takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Scott is desperately trying to improve his position but Notturna has a good base and remains in mount. Notturna controlling the position easily from mount. Scott tries to reverse the position but Notturna maintains control. Notturna is looking to work his way around to Scott's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Notturna is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Notturna controlling from the full mount.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Scott tries to control Notturna's body but Notturna pushes him off. Scott squirms to his side and now Notturna has his back! Score +3 for taking back: Scott (0) vs (10) Notturna Scott holding on to Notturna's left wrist, preventing the choke. Notturna is riding his opponent, not letting Scott buck him off. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Notturna's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Scott tries to escape but Notturna has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Scott just trying to survive but Notturna is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Good control from Notturna. Scott is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Scott is working hard here to advance position.
