This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 40 wins and 23 losses; Vasiliy Kulik! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 37 losses; Anthony Lavicci!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lavicci gets tackled into the ropes by Kulik. Kulik maintains the clinch.

Kulik has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lavicci working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
