Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Song (ranked 4217 p4p, 4191 weight class) and Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Harris! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Song fails to land with a series of punches.
Harris fails with an attempt to clinch.
Song misses with a series of wild punches.
Harris has managed to clinch.
Song pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Song.
Harris tries to counter with a clinch but Song shakes him off and moves away. Harris misses with a low kick.
It looked like Song was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Song gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Harris is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Song to keep the fight standing. Song breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Song throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Song manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Song throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Song misses with an uppercut. Harris saw that one coming. Jacob Song seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Song connects with a body shot that sends Harris's belly button to the back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harris. Song is looking to counter punch. Song slaps away a takedown attempt from Harris, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jacob Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Harris.
That's one minute gone in the round. Song fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harris is defended easily by Song. Song drops Harris with a beautiful combination! Harris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Song is looking for the KO!
It looks like Frank Harris has been cut. Song throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Song is breathing heavily. The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harris. Harris tries to clinch but Song moves out of range. Song throws a right and a left that Harris avoids nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harris instigates a clinch.

A combination from Harris does no damage. Some bone on bone action there as Song checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. An attempted straight right counter from Song misses the target. Harris shoots in and gets a takedown into Song's guard. Harris in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Harris scoring with punches to the head and body. Harris wants to get up but he can't break Song's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Harris sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris stands up from Song's guard - Harris perhaps looking for a knockout. Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Song as he avoids it easily. Harris shoots in and drives through. Song sprawls well. Harris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Song appears to be looking for a big counter. Harris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Song with a hook. Song rushes Harris and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Song prevents a body shot from Harris. Song escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Harris throws a sloppy head kick and Song moves out of range easily. Harris is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song throws a right and a left that Harris avoids nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Harris. Song displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Harris sitting in guard, not really doing much. Song tries to strike from the bottom.
Song is looking to sweep but instead, Harris has passed into half guard.
Song might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Still in half guard, Harris seems content to control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Song dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Harris's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Song waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Harris. Jacob Song is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Song misses with a two punch combination.

Harris takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Song stuffs the takedown. Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Song lands with a good body shot. Harris avoids a punch combination nicely.
Song lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harris circles away quickly and effectively. Song avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but Song is just out of range. Song throws a lazy right hand but Harris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. It seemed like Harris was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Harris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Is there anything that Harris can do to turn this around? Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. It looked like Song was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Harris. Harris throws a head kick that misses. Harris misses with a low kick. Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Song as he avoids it easily. Harris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jacob Song is winning the standup battle so far. Harris moves into the clinch successfully.
Harris tries to pull guard but Song holds him up against the cage and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.

Song defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Harris. Harris shoots in but no luck this time. Song moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Harris tries to clinch up but Song circles away and keeps his distance. Harris avoids the body shot from Song.
Harris lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Harris pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Song throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harris. Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Song's waist but Song gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side. Song just misses with a punch to the body.
Harris is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Song lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Harris at a distance.
Song closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Song wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Harris pulls guard effortlessly. Song is in close to Harris's body, working some short punches and elbows. Song knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground. Song is looking to work some ground and pound but Harris has wrist control. Song is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Harris has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Song is looking to defend but Harris has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Song! Harris pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Song taps out and this one is all over!
