Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, River Waters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mateusz Kieliszkowski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kieliszkowski is landing with some decent strikes but Waters is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Kieliszkowski jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Waters manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Waters looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Kieliszkowski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Waters is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kieliszkowski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kieliszkowski is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Waters has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kieliszkowski has the hooks in. Waters is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Waters is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kieliszkowski is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Waters defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Waters wants to escape the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mateusz Kieliszkowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Waters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kieliszkowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kieliszkowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Waters with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kieliszkowski is nestled in close to Waters, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
