The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin clinches with his opponent.
Cabral successfully pulls guard.
Faolin wants to get up but he can't break Cabral's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Faolin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Faolin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cabral has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Faolin is looking to defend but Cabral has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Faolin! Cabral pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Faolin taps out and this one is all over!
