Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Zhang!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Patterson with that takedown attempt.
Zhang stuffs the takedown.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zhang sprawls well. Zhang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet.

Zhang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Patterson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Zhang connects with a good right hand that stumbles Patterson. Patterson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Zhang throws a looping overhand right but Patterson ducks down to avoid it.

Patterson attempts a counter takedown but Zhang avoids it well and moves away.

Nice body punch from Zhang.
Zhang bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zhang but Zhang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mario Zhang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fighters circling - Zhang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Patterson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Patterson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Patterson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Zhang is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Patterson.

Zhang clinches up with Patterson and pushes him back against the cage.

Patterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zhang walks away with a smile on his face. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Oh Patterson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zhang lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Patterson to his knees! Zhang keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
