Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Rocky (ranked 1992 p4p, 1798 weight class) and Jimmy Nitro (ranked 228 p4p, 211 weight class). Nitro has chosen A Perfect Hero - Super Eurobeat as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitro throws a push kick but Rocky slaps the foot to one side.
Rocky avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rocky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nitro.
Rocky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Jimmy Nitro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rocky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
