Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Jose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayhem King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luiz Jose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mayhem King! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King tries to clinch there but Jose circles away.
Jose fails with a takedown attempt from distance. King stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! King prevents Jose from getting the reversal. King wants to control the pace but Jose is squirming around nicely. Jose is trying desperately to improve position. A nice elbow there by King. Jose gets back to half guard. Jose looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King prevents Jose from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jose is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but King pulls his head out easily. Jose really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. King trying to control the action but Jose is working from the bottom. Jose looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jose is breathing heavily. King tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jose knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. King tries to stand and escape but Jose is controlling the position. King looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jose drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jose drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Jose off! Jose jumps back into King's guard. King is adopting a defensive guard. King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jose is controlling him. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jose drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but King manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jose has King in his guard. Jose can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace. Jose looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. King sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jose is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jose wants to sweep here but King controlling him for the moment. Jose is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King forces his way into half guard. Jose is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but King pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mayhem King dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
King lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jose with a lazy takedown attempt and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jose's guard. King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jose is keeping the position for now. Jose working for a triangle but King defends it easily.
King trying to control but Jose is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jose being controlled here, momentarily. King throwing strikes from guard but Jose blocks nicely. King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jose swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jose gets caught flat footed, as King shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. King wants to pass the guard but Jose is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jose looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jose has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jose wants to sweep but no luck. Jose is looking for a triangle but King pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jose is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! King has his hands clasped together but Jose extends an breaks King's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jose.
