Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dodong Janjan (ranked 1947 p4p, 737 weight class) and Gage Mickey (ranked 143 p4p, 54 weight class). Janjan's entrance music is Love Addict. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dodong Janjan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gage Mickey!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janjan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Janjan throws a big counter combination but Mickey scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Janjan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Janjan has managed to clinch.
Janjan fails to pull guard.
Mickey lands a shot to the body.
Mickey breaks from the clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Janjan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mickey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mickey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Janjan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mickey was well out of range. Poor timing from Janjan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mickey misses the shot to the body.
Janjan wants to clinch.
Mickey scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mickey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Janjan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mickey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Janjan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mickey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mickey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Janjan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Janjan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Mickey lands a body shot.
A left lands for Mickey.
Janjan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Janjan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mickey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mickey misses with a wild body shot.
Mickey connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Janjan momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Janjan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mickey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mickey tries a head kick but it misses.
Mickey has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Donk. Mickey catches Janjan right on the button with a cross.
Gage Mickey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mickey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mickey throws a low kick, looking for Janjan's leg but Janjan calmly moves out of range.

Janjan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mickey has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Janjan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Janjan is rocked!
Mickey lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Janjan - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Mickey!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gage Mickey! Gage Mickey retains his bantamweight title!
