The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Halvorsen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kirby is just riding it out for now. Halvorsen eventually gives up the hold.

Halvorsen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Halvorsen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adrian Halvorsen.
