The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaw looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Nicholas has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Shaw's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Nicholas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nicholas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nicholas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nicholas is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Shaw has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Nicholas is in a lot of trouble! Shaw is straining to finish and he's done it! Nicholas taps out! Amazing!
