Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nurislam Alieva (ranked 5911 p4p, 24270 weight class) and Kyle Schneider (ranked 513 p4p, 523 weight class). Kyle Schneider has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nurislam Alieva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nurislam Alieva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Schneider! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alieva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schneider. Schneider swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Schneider on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Alieva forces Schneider back against the cage and clinches. Alieva is trying to break the clinch but Schneider is controlling him. Alieva is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Schneider to keep the fight standing. Schneider lands a right hand that snaps the head of Alieva backwards. Alieva wants to stall.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schneider has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Schneider presses Alieva against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Alieva drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Schneider lands a nice uppercut. Alieva lands a body shot. Schneider will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Alieva up against the cage. Alieva wants a takedown.
Schneider works on Alieva's body with a couple of short punches. Alieva letting Schneider take a breather here. Schneider blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Alieva pulls guard effortlessly. Schneider got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alieva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schneider has managed to get both his arms back between Alieva's legs - danger averted. Schneider postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alieva controls Schneider momentarily but Schneider frees himself. Schneider sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alieva's guard. Schneider is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Schneider throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Alieva taking some punishment here, with Schneider in his half guard. Alieva actively working from the bottom here. Schneider working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
It looks like Nurislam Alieva has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schneider trying to mount his opponent but Alieva defends it.

Alieva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Alieva. Alieva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schneider gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schneider working some strikes from top position. Alieva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Schneider is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Alieva.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alieva is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Schneider's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schneider seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alieva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Schneider looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alieva with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Alieva is trying to get back to full guard. Schneider working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Alieva is trying to maintain the position but Schneider is very close to passing his half guard. Alieva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Schneider dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nurislam Alieva's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Alieva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kyle Schneider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schneider connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Schneider lands a right hook to the body.

Schneider connects with a right hand. Alieva shakes it off. Alieva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alieva wants to clinch and Schneider counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Schneider throws a jab when Alieva was well out of range. Alieva seems to have got his legs back now. Schneider lands a big uppercut and Alieva crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alieva looks OK. Schneider waves Alieva back to his feet! Schneider has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Schneider throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Schneider is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Alieva is in big trouble! Schneider is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Alieva. Poor guy.
