Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Simo Hayha! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doric Dienekes! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayha misses with a body shot.
Dienekes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hayha defends it well. Nice straight punches there by Hayha. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hayha. Hayha lunges at Dienekes with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dienekes's hand. Hayha connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dienekes momentarily.
Dienekes ducks under a wild hook from Hayha. Hayha paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hayha misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dienekes.

Dienekes tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Hayha lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dienekes circles away quickly and effectively. Dienekes with the counter takedown but Hayha avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dienekes moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hayha misses with the combination.
