Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Aerts (ranked 5595 p4p, 5839 weight class) and Jack Skull (ranked 564 p4p, 582 weight class). Skull has chosen Another one bites the dust as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Aerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Skull! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aerts misses with a hook. Skull ducked under it nicely. We've been told by Aerts's head coaches at MMAH League and Warrior Nation that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Skull uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Aerts. Skull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. It looked like Aerts wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Skull staying out of range there. Skull throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

An attempted straight right counter from Aerts misses the target. Skull swings widly with a right hand
and Aerts counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Aerts clobbers Skull with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Aerts throws a big shot that misses. Skull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Aerts misses with a body shot.

It looked like Aerts wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Aerts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skull sees it coming and avoids it easily. Skull pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jack Skull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A left lands for Aerts. Aerts looks to land a left hand but Skull moved out of range nicely. Skull is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab by Aerts. Skull misses with a head kick.

Decent striking displayed by Aerts there. Skull throws a sloppy head kick and Skull takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Aerts digs a good hook to Skull's body.

Skull throws a head kick that misses and Aerts counters with a crisp right that sends Skull to the canvas! Aerts follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
