Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aidyn Duke (ranked 3838 p4p, 4288 weight class) and Matt Xtreme (ranked 432 p4p, 409 weight class). Matt Xtreme will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xtreme manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Duke keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Duke has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Xtreme is trying to keep an underhook but Duke manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Xtreme is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Duke pulls his head out easily.
Duke looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Xtreme with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Duke jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Xtreme manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Duke closes the distance and clinches up with Xtreme, looking for a takedown. Duke pushes Xtreme against the cage but Xtreme circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Xtreme tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Xtreme somewhat.
Xtreme shoots in but Duke avoids the takedown attempt easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duke is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Duke wants to advance to full mount but Xtreme doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Xtreme wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Duke manages to pass to side control.

Duke postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Xtreme on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Xtreme doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
