The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Chriss clinches up with Nastula and pushes him back against the cage.

Chriss is trying to trip Nastula. He has hold of a leg but Nastula is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chriss persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Nastula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Chriss is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nastula is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nastula has escaped and now he's on top!

Nastula really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chriss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chriss has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Chriss's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chriss drops back looking for a leg! Nastula is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nastula manages to kick Chriss off! Chriss jumps back into Nastula's guard.

Nastula is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Marquis Chriss really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hawaii Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
