Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodriguez Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paruzzi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Rodriguez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rodriguez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Paruzzi's guard.

Rodriguez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Paruzzi has managed to free his arm - good work.

Rodriguez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Paruzzi sees it coming and defends easily.
Paruzzi is refusing to be controlled, as Rodriguez sits in half guard.
Rodriguez is thwarting Paruzzi's attempts to control the position.
Paruzzi is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Paruzzi is trying to maintain the position but Rodriguez is very close to passing his half guard.

Rodriguez wants to work for an arm triangle but Paruzzi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Paruzzi is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rodriguez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paruzzi's body to avoid the submission. Paruzzi has instead reached around Rodriguez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paruzzi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
