Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eric Fassett (ranked 1033 p4p, 1038 weight class) and Mad Panda (ranked 77 p4p, 78 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Fassett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Panda!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fassett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Panda goes for a double leg but Fassett avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fassett continues to drive forward.
Panda has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Panda.
Panda takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fassett loads up on a big right hand but Panda slips the punch.
Fassett feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pandas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fassett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fassett lands with a straight right. Panda didn't see that one coming.
Panda misses with a takedown attempt - Fassett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Eric Fassett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mad Panda.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fassett throws a jab when Panda was well out of range.
Panda changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Fassett darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Panda is not content to let Fassett control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fassett drops an elbow to the side of Panda's head.
Panda is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Panda is still trying to improve position.
Fassett is pressing down on Panda's thigh, looking to free his foot. Panda is holding on for now.
Fassett is taking a breather. Panda says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fassett sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Panda defending well though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panda is trying to control but can't.
Panda is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Fassett is staying active.
Panda blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fassett.
Fassett is thwarting Panda's attempts to control the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fassett working the head and body with strikes.

Fassett throws a strike but Panda avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Fassett connects with a couple of short punches.
Panda utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Panda has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fassett is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Panda.
Fassett cracks Panda with a big elbow.

Fassett is putting a hurting on Panda here, landing some big shots from side control.
Fassett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Panda is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Panda regains half guard, as Fassett was trying to land strikes.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fassett lands a nice short elbow.
Panda manages to get to full guard.
Fassett scoring with some ground and pound.
Fassett trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Fassett is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Panda working for a triangle but Fassett defends it easily.
Panda is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fassett frees his head nicely. Oh but Panda has switched to an armbar! Fassett is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
