Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Dinu (ranked 4409 p4p, 4921 weight class) and Ralph Wiggim (ranked 415 p4p, 440 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Dinu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Wiggim! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinu swings for the body but Wiggim moves out of range.
Wiggim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circling - Dinu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dinu throws a shot from downtown. Wiggim moves away and avoids it. Wiggim tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Dinu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It looked like Dinu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Wiggim gets the takedown into side control. Dinu explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Dinu misses with a looping right. And Wiggim tries to counter it with a takedown but Dinu pushes his down on his head and steps out. Roman Dinu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dinu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wiggim moves away. Wiggim changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good exchange - Dinu coming out on top. Dinu throws a leg kick that misses. Wiggim drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dinu defends it well. Dinu pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wiggim is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dinu lands with a nice body punch. Dinu swinging wildly here.
Wiggim shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dinu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Wiggim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dinu swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wiggim is stalling in the full guard. Wiggim stands and throws Dinu's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dinu is not content to let Wiggim control the position. Dinu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dinu tries to get out of the position. Wiggim tries to move to mount but Dinu blocks the move with his legs. Dinu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wiggim on the ground. Wiggim trying to control the position but Dinu is working away. Wiggim tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dinu wants to control but Wiggim postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wiggim trying to control the position but Dinu is working away. Dinu is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Wiggim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dinu keeps working.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dinu loads up on a big right hand but Wiggim slips the punch. Dinu swings for the body but Wiggim moves out of range.
Dinu tries to clinch but Wiggim is having none of it. Dinu scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Dinu misses with a low kick as Wiggim jumps back. Wiggim is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Dinu thows a left - swing and a miss! Wiggim is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Wiggim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dinu. Dinu is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. That's five minutes gone in the round. Dinu loads up on a big right hand but Wiggim slips the punch. Wiggim drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dinu defends it well. Wiggim avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Dinu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wiggim manages to avoid it. Wiggim tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Dinu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wiggim drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dinu defends it well. Dinu throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wiggim with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dinu to score with a decent uppercut. A shot to the liver by Dinu. Beautiful body shot. Dinu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dinu throws an overhand right that lands on Wiggim's shoulder, as Wiggim tries to avoid the shot. Dinu is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Wiggim's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. A jab from Dinu finds it's way through Wiggim's defenses. Dinu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wiggim to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dinu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wiggim forces his way into half guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Wiggim is working for a kimura but Dinu is defending it quite comfortably.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dinu manages to escape and get back to his feet! Dinu tries to clinch but Wiggim moves out of range. Wiggim feints the counter takedown. Wiggim avoids the body shot from Dinu.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Dinu throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wiggim ducks under a wild hook from Dinu. Wiggim with the counter takedown but Dinu avoids it easily. Dinu cracks Wiggim with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wiggim drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wiggim trying to control but Dinu is working from the bottom. Dinu wants to get back to his feet but Wiggim is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wiggim trying to control the position from guard on top but Dinu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wiggim slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Wiggim has hold of Dinu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dinu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wiggim cranks the arm and Dinu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dinu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
