Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Solade (ranked 3688 p4p, 3776 weight class) and Jimmy Allen (ranked 179 p4p, 184 weight class). Jimmy Allen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donny Solade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Allen!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solade moves forwards but Allen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Solade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Solade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Solade is trying hard to land a takedown here. Allen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Solade closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Allen lands a big right hand that sends Solade crashing to the mat! Allen stays standing though and waves Solade back to his feet!

It looks like Donny Solade has been cut.
Solade is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Allen is stalking Solade. Solade circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Allen, and it's lights out! Solade really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy Allen!
