These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doubleday uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cyde.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cyde looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Doubleday shoots for a double leg takedown but Cyde sprawls well. He's pushed Doubleday's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Geno Cyde is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doubleday changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cyde tries to avoid it but Doubleday manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cyde to the ground. Cyde escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Doubleday tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cyde swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Cyde counters with a huge left! Doubleday is in big trouble! He's backing up but Cyde isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Doubleday from any more damage. A dominating finish by Cyde!
