The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gorgodze fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging King to the ground. Gorgodze is now in King's guard.
Gorgodze is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
King parries the strikes from Gorgodze easily there. Gorgodze is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable King to escape.
King takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Gorgodze content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Oh King is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gorgodze scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh King is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gorgodze can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
