The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Garcia's head.

It looks like Gabe Garcia has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Garcia or perhaps it was just good defense by Francis, which made it look bad.

Garcia moves into the clinch.
Garcia wants to get back to striking at distance but Francis won't allow it.
Francis lands a body shot in the clinch.
Garcia is looking for a takedown.
Garcia is trying to pull guard but Francis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Francis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jayson Francis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabe Garcia.
Francis misses with a body punch.

Francis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Garcia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Francis counters with a three punch combo that has Garcia backing up. Garcia nods at Francis to acknowledge the strikes.
Francis throws out a powerful jab.
Francis lands a body shot.
Jayson Francis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Francis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Garcia has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Francis finds it's way round the side to connect with Garcia's head.

and Francis counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Francis darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Garcia's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Francis before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

After the fight, Jayson Francis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
