Flick throws a leg kick
and Gijs counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gijs.
Gijs lands a couple of digs.
Flick striking off his back but it's not causing Gijs any problems.
Gijs not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Gijs passes into half guard.
Flick misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Gijs lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Gijs passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Flick!
Gijs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gijs lands a big elbow - Flick is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Flick is forced to tap out!
