Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bumber (ranked 4067 p4p, 5160 weight class) and Joash Ng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Bob Bumber has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Bumber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joash Ng!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bumber fails to land with a series of punches.
Ng avoids the head kick by Bumber.
Bumber throws a head kick that misses.
No joy there for Bumber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bumber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Bumber.

Ng moves into the clinch.

Ng tightens his grip and picks Bumber up, before dumping him to the ground. Bumber manages to land in guard.
Bumber wants to stand but Ng is controlling the position.
Bumber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ng.
Ng makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Bumber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ng stands and steps away. Bumber gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bumber blocks a head kick by Ng.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ng gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Ng can't get the takedown.
Ng is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bumber pulls him back up using the underhooks.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ng.

Bob Bumber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joash Ng.
Ng is trying to drag Bumber to the mat but Bumber just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ng fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ng has Bumber pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bumber manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ng wants to take the fight to the mat but Bumber manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Bumber wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ng tries to pull guard but Bumber forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Bumber stops a takedown attempt from Ng.
Ng goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bumber prevents it.
Ng is trying to pull guard but Bumber has him pressed against the cage.

Ng jumps guard but Bumber stands there with Ng around his waist. Ng gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Bumber manages to break the clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ng.
Bumber throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Bumber.
No joy there for Bumber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bumber moves out of range as Ng throws a body kick.
Bumber tries to bum rush Ng with a series of wild strikes but Ng uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ng showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bumber.
Sloppy strikes from Ng. Those never looked like landing.
Bumber throws a right and a left that Ng avoids nicely.
Bumber on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Ng tries to clinch but Bumber moves out of range.
Ng looks to land a combination but Bumber avoids it well.
Bumber avoids a kick to the body.
Bumber swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ng looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ng throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ng tries to bum rush Bumber with a series of wild strikes but Bumber uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bumber misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bumber throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ng moves in looking to clinch but Bumber pushes him off.
Ng fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ng thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bumber if he has to take too many more of those.
Bumber stuffs the takedown.
Bumber misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ng takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bumber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ng moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ng throws the kick towards the body but Bumber avoids it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Bumber will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bumber looks to land a combination but Ng avoids it well.

Ng gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ng misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ng can't get the takedown.

Ng lands a takedown into guard.
Ng throwing strikes from guard but Bumber blocks nicely.

Ng is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bumber is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bumber has escaped and now he's on top!

Ng is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bumber wanted to stand there but Ng had control of the position.
Bumber wants to stand and escape but instead Ng has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ng postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ng has gone for a leg lock! Bumber slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ng's guard.


Ng looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ng looking for a guillotine here but Bumber defends easily.
Ng is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've been informed that Ng has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Ng trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Bumber wanted to stand there but Ng had control of the position.
Ng is trying to control the position but Bumber postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ng wants to sweep here but Bumber controlling him for the moment.
Ng keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom.
Ng managing to control the position.
Ng bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bumber's guard.

Ng throws an elbow that misses. Bumber uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ng's guard. Nice move by Bumber!

Ng throws a couple of heel strikes.

Ng throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bumber would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ng lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ng sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bumber's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ng is working for a submission of some sort.

Ng seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bumber is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Joash Ng!
