Hurtado drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hawkthorne working for a triangle but Hurtado defends it easily.
Hurtado should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hurtado drops back looking for a leg! Hawkthorne is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hawkthorne manages to kick Hurtado off! Hurtado jumps back into Hawkthorne's guard.

Hawkthorne had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hurtado defends it easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hurtado is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hurtado has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hawkthorne to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hurtado is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hawkthorne pulls down on the head and he's put Hurtado to sleep! This one is all over!
