Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howard Clay (ranked 2263 p4p, 3696 weight class) and Banchamek Buakaw (ranked 239 p4p, 372 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Howard Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Banchamek Buakaw! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buakaw slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Clay ducks under a wild hook from Buakaw. As Buakaw tries to get set, Clay tries to push him back and clinch up but Buakaw manages to avoid the attempt. Clay forces Buakaw back against the cage and clinches. Buakaw breaks the clinch.
Buakaw scores with a sloppy right hand. Clay should have avoided that one. Buakaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buakaw works the jab nicely. A decent looking cross lands there for Buakaw.
It looks like Howard Clay has been cut. Buakaw drops Clay with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Clay looks back up at him and smiles so Buakaw waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Buakaw thows a left - swing and a miss! Clay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Buakaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Buakaw feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Clay sprawling to the canvas! Clay rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Buakaw finish him?!
Clay is rocked! Good standup being displayed there by Buakaw as he connects with a hook. Oh Clay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Banchamek Buakaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Clay seems to have got his legs back now. Clay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Buakaw doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clay. Buakaw felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buakaw is looking to escape. Buakaw is controlling Clay's position as best he can from this difficult position. Clay is looking to advance position but Buakaw won't allow it. Clay is looking for a kimura here.
Buakaw is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Clay moves into full mount! Buakaw won't be happy about that! Clay trying to control but Buakaw is having none of it. Buakaw prevents any damage by holding on tight. Buakaw is squirming around, avoiding Clay's attempts to control the action. Clay with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Buakaw holds on for dear life, controlling Clay's posture momentarily. Buakaw sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clay prevents Buakaw from improving his position. Buakaw looks like he's trying to stand up.
Buakaw is staying active underneath Clay, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Buakaw works his way to full guard. Good work. Clay tries to free his leg and advance position but Buakaw is retaining full guard. Clay passes into half guard. Buakaw tries to kick Clay off but Clay keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Clay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buakaw keeps working. Buakaw keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Clay is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Clay wants to control but Buakaw is keeping him busy. Buakaw is trying to stand.

Buakaw manages to escape and get back to his feet! Clay moves into the clinch. Clay jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Buakaw walks away with a smile on his face. Clay gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Buakaw misses with a series of wild punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Banchamek Buakaw dominated that round. The cut man is working on Howard Clay's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Clay blocks a head kick by Buakaw.
Buakaw scores with a shot to the body.
Clay with a poor takedown and Buakaw counters with a straight right hand. Buakaw throws a lazy head kick so Clay counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Clay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clay looking to pass the guard. Clay trying to move into half guard but instead Buakaw has managed to sweep!
Howard Clay overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Buakaw stands and throws Clay's legs to the side, diving into side control. Clay is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Buakaw moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clay stops Buakaw from passing to mount. Clay is looking to regain half guard here but Buakaw keeps moving and retains side control. Clay is working hard here to advance position. Buakaw stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buakaw bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clay's head backwards. Buakaw connects with a crisp jab. Buakaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Clay shoots in looking for a takedown but Buakaw manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clay's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Clay moves forwards but Buakaw connects with a nice, crisp jab. Buakaw tries to bum rush Clay with a series of wild strikes but Clay uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Buakaw misses with a two punch combination.
Clay checks the leg kick. Buakaw lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Buakaw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Buakaw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clay. Clay gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Buakaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Howard Clay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clay wants to clinch. Clay rushes Buakaw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Clay scores with a knee to the head.
Buakaw looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Clay is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Buakaw blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Buakaw working hard to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clay tries to pull guard but Buakaw forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Clay with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Buakaw is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Buakaw is trying to break free. Clay is working for takedown but Buakaw is calmly controlling the position for now. Clay using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Buakaw has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Clay fails to pull guard.
Buakaw manages to break the clinch.
Buakaw lands a head shot. Clay takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Buakaw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Buakaw misses with a low kick.
Buakaw lands the left hand. Clay blocks a head kick by Buakaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Buakaw throws a wild combination but nothing lands. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Banchamek Buakaw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Howard Clay's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Buakaw throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Clay stumbling backwards into the cage! Clay bounces back off the cage towards Buakaw, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Buakaw lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Buakaw celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Banchamek Buakaw!
