The crowd seem to be enjoying Fertit's choice of entrance music: Riot. Vito Fertit has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Toby Chapelle's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertit takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A head kick misses from Fertit.
Chapelle shoots in and drives through. Fertit sprawls well.
A head kick from Fertit lands but Chapelle takes it in his stride.
Fertit gets caught flat footed, as Chapelle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fertit wants to stand but Chapelle is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fertit wants to get back to his feet but Chapelle passes into half guard.
Chapelle stands up out of the half guard.
Fertit connects with a right hand. Chapelle shakes it off.
Chapelle drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Chapelle gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fertit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fertit misses with a double jab.
Fertit seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Chapelle shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Fertit is backing up but Chapelle catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Fertit covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Chapelle Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toby Chapelle!
