And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Jones Jr!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jones Jr jabs Hopkins Jr right on the nose. Hopkins Jr blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Bernard Hopkins Jr has been cut.

Jones Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hopkins Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones Jr.
Hopkins Jr throws out a loose jab but Jones Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones Jr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Roy Jones Jr has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jones Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hopkins Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It seemed like Jones Jr was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Jones Jr walks into a left hand.
Hopkins Jr loads up on a big right hand but Jones Jr slips the punch.
Jones Jr is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Jones Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Jones Jr weaves into range and cracks Hopkins Jr right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Hopkins Jr goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Jones Jr is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
