The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick throws a shot from downtown. Swick moves away and avoids it.
Swick wants to clinch up but Fitzpatrick keeps it at a distance.
A punch combination from Fitzpatrick misses.
Swick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fitzpatrick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fitzpatrick misses with a double jab.
Swick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Swick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fitzpatrick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fitzpatrick throws a series of punches but Swick moves out of range.
Fitzpatrick works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Swick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fitzpatrick.
Swick misses with a straight left.
Swick tries a head kick but it misses.
Fitzpatrick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fitzpatrick throws a right and a left that Swick avoids nicely.
Swick on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Swick closes the distance and clinches up with Fitzpatrick, looking for a takedown. Swick pushes Fitzpatrick against the cage but Fitzpatrick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fitzpatrick scores with a jab to the head.
Fitzpatrick throws a half hearted mid kick.
Swick lands a head kick!
Fitzpatrick tests Swick's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rory Fitzpatrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Fitzpatrick engages and cracks Swick with a massive lead left hook - Swick tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Fitzpatrick is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
