Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Young (ranked 24523 p4p, 24800 weight class) and Izi Ruvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stan Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Izi Ruvik! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young throws a lazy uppercut
and Ruvik counters with a nice double leg into side control. Young won't be happy with that. Young tries to buck Ruvik off but Ruvik is having none of it. Ruvik working away. Ruvik just content to control the position. Ruvik advances nicely into full mount. Ruvik sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Young is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruvik takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Young keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ruvik with a couple of short strikes. Young really wants to buck Ruvik off and get back to his feet. Ruvik thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Ruvik controlling the pace for now. It looks like Ruvik might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Ruvik's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young is looking to improve his position but Ruvik isn't that keen on the idea. Young is breathing heavily. Ruvik controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ruvik is continuing to stall. More stalling from Ruvik. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Izi Ruvik dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Young throws a lazy uppercut
and Ruvik counters with a nice low kick that buckles Young's knee momentarily. Ruvik looks for a takedown but Young sprawls well. Ruvik with a poor takedown and Young counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Izi Ruvik has been cut. Young throws a hook but Ruvik blocks it. No joy there for Ruvik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Young takes a head kick and keeps coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed right hand from Young misses the target. Ruvik scores with a head kick. Young tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Ruvik tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Young defends well and Ruvik ends up having to push Young into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Young misses the target. Stan Young has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Izi Ruvik. Ruvik throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruvik paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Ruvik has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ruvik darts in and clinches Young up against the cage. Young drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ruvik gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ruvik pulls guard. Ruvik keeping moving, preventing Young from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ruvik lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Young is trying to keep Ruvik in close.
Ruvik controls from within his opponent's guard. The adventures of Ruvik the control monster continue. Boring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruvik sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Young's guard. Ruvik is controlling the pace.
Izi Ruvik has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Young tries to keep at a distance but Ruvik has taken the fight into the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Izi Ruvik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Izi Ruvik's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Ruvik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Young swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Young scores with a jab. Ruvik looks to land a combination but Young avoids it well. Young throws out a loose jab but Ruvik uses good head movement to avoid it. A big right from Young misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruvik forces Young back against the cage and clinches. Ruvik successfully pulls guard.
Ruvik has control of Young's left arm, preventing Young from doing any damage. Ruvik keeping full guard, as Young tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young looking to sit in guard and control but Ruvik gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ruvik passes Young's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ruvik blocks the strikes from Young.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Young wants to control but Ruvik is keeping busy.
Ruvik passes to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruvik tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Young tries to hold on but Ruvik pushes him away. Ruvik looking to control and managing it successfully.

And that's the end of the fight! Izi Ruvik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ruvik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
