Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koen Van Heeten (ranked 3704 p4p, 4386 weight class) and Aidyn Duke (ranked 427 p4p, 479 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aidyn Duke!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Heeten motions for Duke to come forward. Van Heeten throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Duke feints a counter leg kick.

Duke shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Duke was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Duke tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Duke grinds an elbow into Van Heeten's temple.
Duke lands a decent elbow from side control.
Duke content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Duke is looking to take a break and control but Van Heeten is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duke is trying to get an arm triangle but Van Heeten is defending well.

Duke lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Van Heeten down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Heeten keeps working.

Duke ducks under a wild hook from Van Heeten.
Van Heeten misses with a leg kick

and Duke counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Van Heeten!
Duke works to advance to full mount. Van Heeten defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duke goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Van Heeten is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duke can do anything to dispel that myth.

Duke has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Van Heeten should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Duke has tightened it up now! Van Heeten should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
