Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ripp Colton (ranked 2876 p4p, 25040 weight class) and Caiden Banks (ranked 147 p4p, 382 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Caiden Banks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ripp Colton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Caiden Banks! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks gets in close and instigates a clinch. Colton looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Colton successfully pulls guard.
Banks looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Colton working for submissions but it's allowed Banks to get to half guard.
Colton is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Zombie MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Banks controlling the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colton trying to hold on to Banks's head to control him but Banks postures up.
Banks performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Colton gets full guard. Banks controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Banks trying to control but Colton is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Banks clinches up with Colton and pushes him back against the cage. Colton decides to pull guard. Banks looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Colton has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Banks is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Colton. A lull in the action here as Banks stalls from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colton can't do much from the bottom here. Colton is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Banks is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Banks takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Colton tries to reverse the position but Banks maintains control. Colton wants to control but Banks is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Banks there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Banks looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Colton tries to hold on but Banks postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Caiden Banks dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Banks moves into range and clinches up with Colton. Colton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Colton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Banks tries to free his leg and advance position but Colton is retaining full guard. Colton trying to keep a closed guard but Banks is proving a slippery customer.
Banks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Colton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Banks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banks trying to control but Colton is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Banks slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Colton is keeping the position for now. Colton working for a triangle but Banks defends it easily.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Banks clinches. Banks pulls Colton into guard.
Colton trying to control the position from guard on top but Banks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Banks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colton won't allow Banks to sweep him here. Banks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Colton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Banks working for a triangle but Colton defends it easily.

Colton wants to pass the guard but Banks is keeping the position. Banks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Banks looking for a guillotine here but Colton defends easily.

Banks throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Colton escapes and throws Banks's legs to the side, diving into side control! Banks is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Colton's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Colton stalling. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Caiden Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Colton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Banks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Colton, pushing him back against the cage. Banks jumps into guard, dragging Colton to the mat.
Caiden Banks has got the better of the ground game so far. Banks pulls Colton in close to prevent any damage. Colton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Colton throws an elbow that misses. Banks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Colton's guard. Nice move by Banks!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colton is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks stands and throws Colton's legs to the side, diving into side control. Colton is looking for a sweep. Banks has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Banks is looking to take a break and control but Colton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Colton is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Banks is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Banks wants to control the pace but Colton is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks controlling from mount. Colton is in all sorts of trouble here.

Banks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Colton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Banks performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Banks has taken the fight to the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Caiden Banks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Banks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
